The Lodge at Sandpoint

The Lodge at Sandpoint is a boutique lodge on 600 feet of waterfront on Lake Pend Oreille offering a total of 29 spacious rooms.

The Lodge at Sandpoint is dedicated to the proposition that “Life at the lake is the most fun of all.” It was built to give guests the sense of being in a private, lovely vacation home filled with art and books. During summer, the massive Water Wheel and Pond at the entryway greet visitors with an exciting cascade of water and cool refreshing spray. The Great Room features a high trussed ceiling, floor-to-ceiling windows and a giant fireplace. It is amply furnished and beautifully decorated to complement life at the lake and the mountains. We invite guests to relax, sink into a big cozy chair, enjoy the spectacular North Idaho beauty and have fun. From the many patios and decks on the lake side of the lodge, as well as from many guest rooms, enjoy breathtaking views of the lake, the landmark Long Bridge and Schweitzer Mountain, not to mention dramatic sunrises and sunsets, and the twinkling lights of downtown Sandpoint reflecting off the water at night.

Guest rooms feature beautiful private bathrooms, luxurious pillow-top beds, plush linens and refrigerators, daily housekeeping, with many rooms also featuring gas fireplaces, wet bars, waterfront balconies or patios, and flat screen televisions. For guests who prefer two beds, some rooms are furnished with two queen or two king beds.

The Lodge at Sandpoint’s additional amenities include a Fitness Room with cardio and weight equipment.  Visit or contact our 24-hour Front Desk with any questions or needs – we enjoy getting to know you, and are happy to give you advice about local activities, resources, and to assist you in any way we can.

Shopping, art galleries, antique stores, farmers markets, music festivals, car shows, boat shows abound in 100 year-old Sandpoint, located just across The Long Bridge. Walk along the trails and bike paths or just stroll to downtown Sandpoint to enjoy the day.

Recreation abounds with hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, fishing, boating, wakeboarding and waterskiing in the summer … hints of snowflakes falling at Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort lure the skiers and snowboarders to slopes and adventure seeking snowmobilers to the mountains.
